Brad and I met a week after he recieved his mission call to Quito, Ecuador. We were together 4-5 days a week until he left for the MTC on January 23rd, 2008. There wasn't any committment nor had I promised to wait. We never even discussed anything of the sort. I am not sure either of us had any of those thoughts. Although I knew I wanted to keep in touch with him. I was drawn to him. We had so much fun together. When Brad left I knew I wanted to write him the whole time and hang out with him when he came home. I said I would write him and since we both LOVE Lake Powell so much... We planned to go to Lake Powell the summer after he came home. Well who would have thought two years ago that, that Lake Powell trip would be our HONEYMOON! Yes!! Brad and I wrote his whole mission. A month before he came home on January 28th, 2010 he asked me out on a date via email for January 30th, 2010. Of course I said YES!! Brad and I dated from there on out and made things "exculsive" on April 1st, 2010. On April 30th, 2010 he asked me to MARRY him! Of course... I said YES!!!!!
So here our eternal journey begins. I couldn't ask for a better man to marry and share time and all eternity with. I can't wait to marry him! On June 10th, 2010 it will be official. We will be sealed together FOREVER! :)
We will be sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple and have a Cafe Rio luncheoun afterwards in his parents yard. I look forward to this every minute of every day. I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams! Not only that... I am marrying into the most amazing family ever. I truly love them! And my family is excited to have him apart of ours! We are all so lucky!
Right now we are planning our wedding and preparing to be married. This is very exciting! I love it!
and so OUR journey begins...
Congratulations to you both! Your are going to LOVE married life!!! I better be getting an invite to the wedding!!!
